Anilhas Capri, founded in 1947, is a Brazilian company focused on the manufacture and marketing of leg bands for birds and wild birds and identifiers for animals, which can be visual or electronic.

Leader in the identification of wild animals, Anilhas Capri has a modern factory with an area of 1000m2, located in São Paulo-SP, constantly updated technologically, and focused on the development of solutions for the identification of animals. The company has a portfolio of products recognized for its high quality and performance, guaranteeing the total visualization of the animal’s code throughout its life.

Pioneering: it was the first Brazilian company to manufacture leg bands for the identification of birds and wild birds.

The most recent conquest of Anilhas Capri was the development and manufacture of the RFID Leg band (leg band with a microchip), becoming the only company worldwide to own this technology.

The products of the Anilhas Capri are synonymous with quality, durability, ergonomics and differentiation, and are currently marketed across all the states of Brazil and also abroad.
Anilhas Capri exports about 10% of its production of leg band-type identifiers every year. The company maintains a commercial partnership with the biggest and best national and international breeders of birds and animals.

1947

» Due to the difficulty of finding leg bands to mark the birds in Brazil, Anilhas Capri starts the manufacturing of leg bands for birds and wild birds in the country;

1968

» The first sales of leg bands for canary breeders take place;

1970

» The production of leg bands for the Federação Ornitológica do Brazil (FOB - Ornithological Federation of Brazil) begins;

1977

» The production of leg bands for the IBDF (current IBAMA) begins. Line for breeding of birds and wild birds in captivity and in domestic environment;

1988

» Beginning of our service to CEMAVE.
» Open Leg Bands used in the research of adult birds free in nature;
» Stainless Steel Leg Bands for the family Psittacidae;
» Leg bands for Penguins;
» Leg bands for Bats;
» Earrings for small Rodents, etc.;

2007

» Beginning of the construction of the current building for the adaptation of new requirements, future expansion of the sales volume and deployment of new technologies;

2008

» Finished the construction of the new building with 1000m² of leading edge technology and high production capacity;

2009

» Launch of the electronic Leg Band with Radio Frequency (RFID) in low frequency and implantable microchip, an innovative and unique product in the segment;

2012

» launch of the AFA Leg Band, Anti-Counterfeit and Anti-Tampering for passerines;

2018

» Launch of the Ultra High Frequency (UHF) RFID Leg Band, a safe leg band that eliminates the need to handle the bird to see its high connectivity data and capacity of storing information.
