GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS
GPR+
is a universal handheld reader for RFID microchips for the purpose of
identification of animals. The device can read a wide range of
technologies: FDX-B ISO, HDX ISO, FDX-A
(FECAVA), Trovan and Avid encrypted. GPR+ can also read and display Microchip' temperature when reading microchips with
Temperature Sensors1 implants from Allflex
or Destron Fearing. In addition to its microchip reading functions, the GPR+
scanner can store up to 3000 IDs in its internal
memory, each associated with a date / time
stamp, which can be transmitted to a personal computer via an USB cable or
wireless using Bluetooth®
GPR+
comes with Microchip management software, which allows the user to download
scanner memory, change scanner settings, or update the GPR+ firmware.
MICROCHIP MANAGEMENT
SOFTWARE
GPR+ scanner comes with Microchip Management Software
for Windows® OS only. Please refer to the Microchip Management Software User's
Guide to install the tool on your computer.
Note 2 - GPR+ is compatible with iPhone, iPad and
Android. Refer to User Manual for more information.
