INFORMATION
The microchip technically known as a transponder is an electronic
animal identification system, which has an unalterable and unique numerical
code in the world, stored in its memory. It doesn't have a battery, it uses the
reader's power supply to send the code from its memory. The microchip code is
sent to the reader via radio frequency waves, without the need for physical
contact between them.
APPLICATION
It can be applied subcutaneously or intramuscularly in animals, with
an applicator and needle system, similar to the application of a vaccine.
